Illustration Components

As the product design team at The Knot began to grow, it became crucial that we find ways to maintain consistency in everything that we were creating. To this end, I worked to create a set of reusable illustration components that represented some of the most common objects and tasks related to weddings and wedding planning. And using these components created examples of how they might be repurposed using the larger color palette available to us.

String

“String” illustrations that contain a long, continuous line meandering through the image and morphing into different objects. This line (or string) is meant to symbolize connectedness, continuity and the idea of “tying the knot.”
