Helping users find relevant content
Goals of the update were to enable users to quickly locate the content that was most relevant to them,and and to reduce the overall bounce rate of the article pages. Users who were highly engaged with the site's blog content had proven most likely to engage with the Marketplace and other tools on the site.
We spent time sorting through the list of potential new content categories to determine which would be incorporated into the next iteration of the blog. Those that were in high demand were determined to have the lowest effort and highest impact.strong> Of those that were selected, cost of creating each type of content was assessed, which helped us prioritize for phase 1 which content categories would be part of the first iteration.
